JIM MANN - JEWELRY & GEMSTONES

Jim lives in Norway, Maine.  He is a naturalist, gem miner, gem cutter, metal smith & jewelry designer. He says, “The science of how crystals grow into geometic forms has intrigued and fascinated me since an early age, pulling me into the “rock pile” at age 16.  To engineer one-of-a-kind unusual, strong, yet simple, settings for stones is my greatest gift.”  From 1970-1990, Jim sold gems to over 60 jewelers in New England; from 1989-2013 he owned and managed Mt. Mann Jewelers in Bethel, Maine; and, from 2004-2013 he transacted 108 acquisitions for the founder of Maine Mineral and Gem Museum.  Jim has been an artist with Gallery 302 since 2017.
