"I developed an interest in art at a very young age. My favorite place to visit was the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Though I taught middle school English, I continued to study oil, pastel, and water color. I encouraged my students to appreciate art and to paint with colorful words as they would with a brush. In my paintings, I try to capture the beauty that surrounds us in Maine, from the mountains to the coast and islands. My work currently hangs in Gallery 302 where I am on the Board of Directors. I have won several awards for my work in art shows and galleries. I sell limited edition fine art giclée prints of most of my work. These high quality prints are digitally reproduced on the highest quality archival watercolor paper, using a dye injection process.
